This high-quality brass snap opens on both ends, making it perfect for repairing or replacing broken snaps on older 12-Foot Lead Ropes or 22-Foot and 45-Foot Lines.
We make our metal clips and snaps with top quality brass, but even the best can falter once in a while. With that in mind, we carry snaps to be used both as replacements or simply back-ups, just in case. You can never be too prepared!
At 1200 lbs of pressure, our snap will break. The break weight is there so the snap will break if the horse pulls back, gets tangled, or falls while being tied rather than the horse being severely hurt or killed.
